If you are already licensing your packaging in Austria, select your current Producer Responsibility Organisation (PRO).*

Proceed with payment or get an individual offer. You will receive the power of attorney, which you must notarize and transmit to AuthoriseMe.

AuthoriseMe will register you with the Austrian ministry. The duration depends on the processing time of the Austrian authorities. You will be notified upon completion.
*If you currently do not participate in a PRO, AuthoriseMe will conclude a contract with a PRO on your behalf. The contract and all relevant information will be shared with you. Please note that the licensing causes additional, yet legally required costs, which are not included in the fees applicable to AuthoriseMe.

In the EU, every member state has different rules and obligations, that producers must follow, when they sell packaged goods. The authorised representative can be seen as a support function to the producer, to better understand these legal requirements and to make sure, that all of them are met on time. When commissioning an authorised representative via a power of attorney, which is a legal obligation in several EU member states, you can be sure that you will not unknowingly miss any duties or deadlines regarding your packaging.
If you are a producer without a registered office in Austria and are selling your products directly to Austrian end consumers, you are obliged to appoint an authorised representative. For producers that sell their products only to Austrian businesses, the obligation is as well applicable, if the foreign producer is taking care of the packaging obligations on behalf of its Austrian business client.
One time registration fee starts at EUR 195: This one-time fee only applies to the initial conclusion of the contract with AuthoriseMe.
Annual handling fee, starting from EUR 130 : This fee is charged each year and is based on the quantities placed on the Austrian market.
If applicable, annual B2B fee starting from EUR 125: This charge applies to producers that are selling products Business-to-Business (B2B) in Austria, if the producer takes over the packaging obligation on behalf of its clients.
