If you are already licensing your packaging in Spain select your current Producer Responsibility Organisation (PRO).*

AuthoriseMe will register you with the Spanish ministry. The duration depends on the processing time of the Spanish authorities. You will be notified upon completion.

Proceed with payment or request an individual offer. You will receive the power of attorney, which must be notarized and apostilled before being transmitted to AuthoriseMe.
*If you currently do not participate in a PRO, AuthoriseMe will assist you with a contract conclusion. The contract and all relevant information will be shared with you. Please note that the licensing causes additional, yet legally required costs, which are not included in the fees applicable to AuthoriseMe.

In the EU, every member state has different rules and obligations, that producers must follow, when they sell packaged goods. The authorised representative can be seen as a support function to the producer, to better understand these legal requirements and to make sure, that all of them are met on time. When commissioning an authorised representative via a power of attorney, which is a legal obligation in several EU member states, you can be sure that you will not unknowingly miss any duties or deadlines regarding your packaging.
If you are a producer without a registered office in Spain and are selling your products directly to Spanish end consumers, you are obliged to appoint an authorised representative. For producers that sell their products only to Spanish businesses, the obligation is as well applicable, if your Spanish client is not specifically taking over your packaging obligations on your behalf.
One time registration fee starting from EUR 165: This one-time fee only applies to the initial conclusion of the contract with AuthoriseMe.
Annual handling fee, starting from EUR 155: This fee is charged each year and is based on the quantities placed on the Spanish market.
