Visit AuthoriseMe website and sign the contract digitally.

You will receive a power of attorney, which you must notarise and transmit to AuthoriseMe.

Notify AuthoriseMe, if you are already licensing your packaging in Spain via a Producer Responsibility Organisation (PRO)*.

AuthoriseMe will register you with the Spanish ministry. The duration depends on the processing time of the Spanish authorities.You will be notified upon completion.
*If you currently do not participate in a PRO, AuthoriseMe will set up the necessary contract. Please note that the licensing causes additional, yet legally required costs, which are not included in the fees applicable to AuthoriseMe.
In some EU member states – like Spain - producers can be required to appoint an authorised representative to fulfil their obligations in the context of waste and packaging recycling. With your power of attorney at hand, AuthoriseMe acts as your authorised representative and takes over your responsibility with easy, digital and transparent services. As an authorised representative, it is their job to be on track of all your packaging to dos, inform you about legal requirements and deadlines and to make sure, that all your obligations are being fulfilled.

In the EU, every member state has different rules and obligations, that producers must follow, when they sell packaged goods. The authorised representative can be seen as a support function to the producer, to better understand these legal requirements and to make sure, that all of them are met on time. When commissioning an authorised representative via a power of attorney, which is a legal obligation in several EU member states, you can be sure that you will not unknowingly miss any duties or deadlines regarding your packaging.
If you are a producer without a registered office in Spain and are selling your products directly to Spanish end consumers, you are obliged to appoint an authorised representative. For producers that sell their products only to Spanish businesses, the obligation is as well applicable, if your Spanish client is not specifically taking over your packaging obligations on your behalf
One time registration fee of EUR 150: This one-time fee only applies to the initial conclusion of the contract with AuthoriseMe.
Annual handling fee, starting from EUR 100: This fee is charged each year and is based on the participation cost to the PRO. If the annual fee, paid to the PRO, exceeds 3.600 Euros, the annual handling fee will be charged as 2,75% of this participation fee.
