Now that the regulatory challenges surrounding extended producer responsibility are becoming increasingly complex and international, this service has been integrated into Circular Pro.
This allows processes to be tailored even more precisely to the individual needs of producers, and the service has been further optimised. Customers who previously fulfilled their obligations via activate by Reclay can now rely entirely on the Circular Pro digital platform.
Step-by-Step: Your packaging licensing in Austria
- Create a free Circular Pro account
Set up your account and enter your business details. - Select Licensing Austria in the Marketplace
Go to the Marketplace and select “Licensing Austria” to begin the process. - Indicate your annual packaging quantity
- If you place up to 1,500 kilograms on the Austrian market per year, you will receive a flat-fee contract that can be completed directly online.
- If you place more than 1,500 kilograms on the Austrian market per year, you will first specify the relevant product groups and then provide detailed quantities for each packaging fraction.
- Receive your contract
Depending on your selection, you will either receive your flat-fee contract immediately or a draft contract for review based on the detailed information provided. - Confirm and stay compliant
After confirmation and payment, all required documents will be available in your Document Center. Circular Pro will also remind you of deadlines and support you with ongoing compliance tasks such as annual reporting.
Be aware: If you do not have your own registered office in Austria, you must appoint an authorised representative before participating in the system. This is also a requirement of Austrian law. However, you will be asked about this during the process and, if necessary, forwarded to the relevant authorities – because Circular Pro can also handle the authorisation service for you.
